Day Counter Calculator

This all-in-one Day Counter Calculator computes the number of days between two dates of Gregorian calendar. It can be used also to find out what day will it be after (or was before) a specific number of days has elapsed. Choose any two of the three parameters (the start date, the end date, and the number of days between dates) and get the missing one. The checkbox is used to include the end date in calculation.

How to Count Days Between Dates

The calendar day counter calculator, also known as the days between dates calculator or the date to date calculator, is a handy online tool that helps you quickly compute the number of days between two dates. For example, it can be used when counting down to an important event date, or when you want to find out how many days are left before a critical deadline.

This online calculator is not only a date duration calculator. You can use it also to find out the date separated by a certain number of days from a given date. For example, when you’re starting a 60-day weight loss program, to find out when the program will end.

Example

You have to get your Covid-19 booster shot exactly 3 weeks (or 21 days) after you got your first shot on February 17, 2021. You want to know the date on which you need to book the booster vaccination appointment.

To do this, in the ‘Start Date’ field of our day counter calculator, select the date of the first vaccination, February 17, 2021. Then, in the ‘Days Between the Dates’ field, enter the number of days: 21. In this case, it is clear that there is no need to include the end date in the calculation, so you will not click the ‘Include end date’ checkbox. After clicking the ‘Calculate’ button, you will see that the date March 10, 2021 appears in the ‘End Date’ field. This is the date of booking the booster vaccination appointment.
